Subsite Administration Page

Commonspot subsite administrators are responsible for configuring settings that will be applied to all pages in a subsite, and that can be applied to subsites within a site. Subsite configuration settings should be applied before pages are created within the subsite, but the settings can be modified at any time.

The main administration page for your subsite can be found at the following URL:

Subsite configuration settings include:

  • Subsite Properties
    • Subsite name, description, display name, and e-mail address
    • Language, search, cache, and version history settings
    • Keywords, page title prefix, and template variables
  • Subsites
    • Add, modify, or delete subsites one level below the current subsite
  • General Security
    • Grant and revoke permission to create pages, modify templates, or otherwise alter the subsite or public content in CommonSpot.
  • Content Security
    • Grant and revoke permission to edit content and modify content layout within the subsite.
  • Base Templates
    • Add, modify or delete base template files, if available
  • Page, Image, and Link Management Reports
    • List pages by site hierarchy, by state (work-in-progress, active, inactive), by owner, or by last modified date.
    • List pages with broken internal or external links
    • List pages by link referrals
